Great job on our first meet.  We ended up losing by three points and you can trust that I am going over the results right now to ensure that there were no mistakes.  We had a lot of great things and we should be excited for the rest of the year.  Second a few things I would like to point out about how the meet went.  If you are not coming to the meet you must let me know, we had numerous people not show up to the meet.  Due to this we had empty lanes and missed out on some opportunities for some extra points.  But most importantly other kids did not have the opportunity to swim more.  We have a large team and limited space in meets, I want every kid to swim in as many events as possible.  Second when I say that warm-up starts at a certain time the entire team is expected to be there on time.  If something crazy happens like at Hempstead where they wanted to start the meet 15 minutes earlier and only give us 2 lanes for warm up.  Tomorrows meet is at Plainview Middle school with a warm-up time of 1 pm.  If you are taking the bus it is leaving at 11:30 to ensure that we arrive on time and so we can find the pool.  If you have not emailed me please do so ASAP if you are unable to attend.

Hello everyone,
Just a reminder that we are having a meet this Wednesday at Hempstead High School.  There will be a bus leaving from Echo at 6 if you are going to take the bus please show up at 5:50.  We do not want to have to wait for anyone and be late for warm up.  Warm up will start at 6:30 and the meet will start at 7.  If you have not emailed me yet please do so ASAP if you are unable to attend the meet.

This practice Saturday we will be doing time trails to ensure that we have the best possible line ups for this weekend.  Last year we beat both Plainview and Hempstead, this year I believe that this will be a much much more difficult task.  If you cannot make tomorrows practice it is not a big deal, please do not worry about if you cannot make it.  But if you are able to make it, it would really help out the coaching staff with making the lineup.  We are extremely excited to see how much people have improved so far.  I will be posting directions to Hempstead later today, please check this website daily for updates.

Hello everyone please check the schedule, you will notice that our Hempstead meet has been rescheduled to a week from today.  Also please be aware that our second meet is next Saturday (not this Saturday) against Plainview.  Once I receive our bus schedule from Independent Coach I will have directions and a Bus Schedule Page on the website.  Please Email me by Saturday if you are unable to attend the Hempstead meet
